Acquisition

There are a few ways to get minipets in Guild Wars 2. The primary method being the purchase of Mini Packs, whichcontain 3 randomly selected miniatures (2 common and 1 uncommon). They can be purchased from the Gem Stone for 300 Gems. Miniatures may also be obtained using the Mystic Forge and four miniatures of the same rarity. A few others may also be obtained from playing Guild Wars 1 or pre-purchasing the Digital Deluxe or Collector’s Edition of Guild Wars 2. Lastly, you can buy them from other players at the Trading Post.

Your choice determines the equipment your character will start out with.

		Wolf — A wolf companion is considered a great prize. When fully grown, it’s a shrewd hunter and a devoted ally.
		Snow Leopard — The beautiful snow leopard is a symbol of independence. Its grace and stealth is both inspiring and makes it an unbeatable hunter.
